Lloydie James Lloyd: "Thats the thing I like"
"Thats the Thing I Like"
Ever wanted more of the good stuff? Sometimes in improv we force ourselves to do so much work that we often waste either our good material by throwing it away or we waste the talents of our players by ignoring what they are best at. This workshop is all about acknowledging what is good so that we can make more of it. From your unique talents as an improviser through to what exists in individual scenes, we will work together to maximize what is great. Expect scenework notes and personal improv notes too.
About Lloydie Lloydie is a writer and improviser in Nottingham UK. Lloydie has studied both sketch and satire writing at The Second City. He has trained in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and The Annoyance and iO Theatres in Chicago. He performs regularly with the award winning improv group The Maydays in London and with musical improv team Rhymes Against Humanity which he co-founded in Nottingham. He writes freelance contributions to satirical website newsbiscuit.com as well as sketches and short plays which have been performed across the UK, including at the Edinburgh Fringe. In his spare time Lloydie enjoys collecting both his his thoughts and fancy smelling hand lotion.
