The Sustainability Series (S2) is a collaboration between the Wirth Chair in Sustainable Development at the University of Colorado Denvers School of Public Affairs (Wirth Chair) and the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado (ASC).  The purpose of the S2 is to provide a forum for the discussion of ideas, principles, and strategies to enhance social, economic, and environmental sustainability.  The series has been operating since 2009, and events typically draw between 100 and 200 people.

In May, well hear from policy makers in Hawaii about the states 100% renewable portfolio standard (RPS) and its rooftop solar policies and how the best practices and lessons learned can be applied in Colorado.
