Synopsis: 1994 or thereabouts. There is a civil war in Burundi, the small African country adjacent to Rwanda. A genocidal conflict opposes a rebellion driven by a majority of ethnic Hutus and a national army composed of a majortiy of ethnic Tutsis. We witness the attack by the rebels of a minibus transporting civil passengers. The passengers are divided into Hutus and Tutsis. But who is who? Entirely based on real characters, the film denounces with emotion and a touch of wryness the absurdity of all ethnic conflicts.

After two years I had to make this phone call to my friend and face the challenge to compose my pictures from Cairo.
