Two Kittens & A Kid
Following a critically-acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, sold out shows at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, the Toronto Centre for the Arts Studio Theatre, and Don't Tell Mama in NYC, Christopher Wilson's new one-man musical cabaret about becoming a gay foster father to an adolescent black girl plays The Registry Theatre for one night only!
In this deeply personal and autobiographical story, a gay, white, suburban man suddenly becomes 'Mr Mom' to an adolescent, black, urban girl. White-knuckled on a roller coaster of teenage angst, this new parent falls off the precipice into the mystery of black hair, menstruation, boyz, and ultimately mental health and addiction. Often comedic but always honest, this one-man musical cabaret is a poignant and sometimes heartbreaking story of love, cultural understanding, and desperately trying to find your way!
Had me hooked from the start! - Broadway World UK "A powerful performance (...) both entertaining and incredibly poignant." - The List A sassy yet deeply personable story." - Grumpy Gay Critic Intensely personal and moving." - Steve Stratford Reviews "A performance of great warmth and power (...) both witty and moving." - Scotsgay
