THE LIONESS
The Lioness is a local emcee whose songs have vibrated many speakers throughout her hometown, North Minneapolis. Following her inspiration of Ms. Lauryn Hill & Queen Latifah, The Lioness discovered her musical talent at young age and pursued a life of music. She graduated from McNally Smith College of Music and immediately released her first mixtape titled, The Most Anticipated. The Lioness has been privileged to work alongside a host of legendary performers, such as: Toki Wright, Desdemona, Brother Ali, Atmosphere, Guante, and I Self Devine. Passionate about the well being of her community, The Lioness believes it is an obligation support other beacons of positivity & truth. She has since travelled MN performing her most recent works from her third mixtape Queen and her new album Growing Pains to be released June 8th 2016. Not only has The Lioness dedicated her music career to the create change in the minds and hearts of her community, but also proves that she is a force to be reckoned with.
