Vashon Allied Arts Art Auction
Bid on over 150 pieces of orignal art, enjoy libations, fine dining and knowing you're supporting the Arts! The theme for this year's auction invites you to reveal your own secret agent alter ego at two art-filled nights of spy themed FUNdraising.
Shaken, Not Stirred-
Friday night, enjoy an elegant bento box featuring flavors from around the world. Casino Royale-Saturday nods to a Bond classic and promises a fun-filled evening to share with family, friends and community. Enjoy a fine dining experience worthy of Her Majesty's Secret Service, with a selection of Northwest wines.
Both Evenings offer silent and live auction art, experiences and more. Steffon Moody and Company provide an evening of intrigue and surprises. Try your hand at games of chance and win fabulous prizes! Purchase a martini shaker for $25 and a chance to win up to $300 of Auction credit to spend on your Auction purchases. Many other prizes include cocktails served table-side during live Auction, champagne, $25 to $100 Auction credit and more! AND have your photo taken in a James Bond inspired vignette.
Auction is VAA's premier fundraising event and directly showcases and supports artists. Auction raises money to provide scholarships, artist commissions, instructor fees and operational support for education and development of artists of all ages. Auction 2011 netted $115,000, including $45,000 for scholarships and more than $15,000 in artists' commissions.
