For the past several years around this time we have enjoyed an evening of sing-alongs, laughter and heartfelt songs with beloved Capital District musician Frank Jaklitsch. We were very sad to lose Frank last August, and we knew right away that we would join together this January to make music in his honor and raise money for his favorite cause, Shaker Veterinary Hospital's Save-a-Pet Fund. Leading tonight's celebration will Frank's longtime core band, Bobby Long, Kathi Quinlan and Michael Eck, now performing as Good Things, as well as many friends who shared Frank's stage. The evening will focus on Frank's original songs, with other select favorites from his deep catalog.
