Taking place on the first Wednesday of every month, Caffe Lena's poetry open mic, hosted by Carol Graser, is a relaxed, supportive performance opportunity for poets of all styles and levels of experience. Sign-up starts at 6:30 PM. Readings start at 7:00 PM. Each poet reads two short poems (less than one page) or one longer poem, with a limit of 5 minutes altogether.

Judith Prest is a poet, photographer, mixed media artist and creativity coach. Her poems have been published in Mad Poet's Review, Chronogram, Akros Review, The Muse~An International Journal of Poetry,  Earth's Daughters, Up The River, Upstream, and in seven anthologies. She has previously published two collections of poetry: Sailing On Spirit Wind (1998) and Late Day Light (2011), as well as two chapbooks.  Judith lives in Duanesburg, New York with her husband, Alan Krieger and three cats.

Mike Jurkovic is a 2016 Pushcart nominee and his poetry and musical criticism have appeared in over 400 magazines and periodicals. His first full length collections, smitten by harpies & shiny banjo catfish was released by Lion Autumn Press, 2016. His chapbooks are Eves Venom (Post Traumatic Press, 2014) and Purgatory Road (Pudding House Press, 2010) His anthologies include: WaterWrites & Riverine (Codhill Press, 2009, 2007) and Will Work For Peace (Zeropanik, 1999). He's the president of Calling All Poets, New Paltz, NY. Mike's music features, interviews & CD reviews appear in Elmore Magazine & the Van Wyck Gazette.
