The Cherry Arts, Inc. Ithaca's newest professional non-profit performing arts organization, is currently in the process of building a theater at 102 Cherry Street in Ithaca! It's in a beautiful spot right on the Cayuga Inlet. The Artspace will be a flexible, multidisciplinary venue for locavore talent, hosting locally-grown theater, music, burlesque, opera, fine arts exhibitions, performance art, and more. Located right on the water across from the Ports of New York, the building is projected to be complete by early 2017.
You can help bring the Cherry Artspace to life! We have seats (and you can name one if you like!) and some lights, but we are still in need of TONS of essential technology to make the Artspace an amazing new venue for this community.
