Architecture Matters: Public Interest Design
Join hosts Kris Barkley, AIA, Arturo Levenfeld, AIA and Saxon Sigerson, AIA for an evening of discussion around the topic of Public Interest Design.

Many of the worlds architects are searching for ways to bring the power of design to disadvantaged communities. Design solutions that can help restore a flood devastated community, provide basic shelter to poor families or integrate new technologies in otherwise primitive environments.

Are design-centric solutions more valid than conventional approaches? Are the architects that design them helping to broaden the minds of undereducated children? Our open forum discussion is intended to explore these questions and others in our continuing Architecture Matters Design Forum series.
