MBLA Third Annual Summer Clambake

Come join us on Saturday, Aug. 25th at Thompson Island for our Third Annual Clambake!

The Clambake will include clam chowder, 1 1/2 lb lobster, mussels, steamers, grilled chicken, vegetarian lasagna, corn on the cob, new potatoes, desserts, and a two hour open premium bar. For children, the full Clambake menu will be available. A limited number of hot dogs and hamburgers will also be available.

The Clambake dinner will begin promptly at 3:15pm.You will enjoy your dinner with a backdrop of a beautiful sunset as it shines over one of the most spectacular Boston views. To complete the experience, take a walk on the beach or participate in complimentary activities with other MBLA members and their families, including volleyball matches, a self-guided nature hike, horseshoes, and much more!

Schedule of Events:
1:15-1:30 - Check in and board private MBLA ferry from EDIC/Black Falcon Terminal in South Boston
1:30 - Private MBLA ferry Departs
2:15-3:15 - Activities on Thompson Island, Open Premium Bar, and Light Refreshments Served
3:15-5:15 - Reception and Dinner
5:30 - Depart Thompson Island

Depart EDIC/Black Falcon Terminal (South Boston)

Depart Thompson Island

4:30pm (last ferry)

*Transportation through private MBLA ferry to and from Thompson Island is included in ticket price. The MBLA private ferry will leave promptly at 1:30pm and will leave the Island at 5:30pm. Please note that if you miss the private MBLA ferry, your ticket price does not include public ferry transportation offered through Thompson Island. The Thompson Island public ferry charges $17.00 per person.
