Tickled by Freaks
Tickled By Freaks originally met in John Dawson's improv class in Dublin, and soon discovered a love of improv and a love of working together. They started practicing on their own and developed a close-knit bond and unique style that translates into strong performances with loads of laughs. All we want is to have fun and put a smile on our audience's collective face. Although, relatively new on the scene, the group has performed several well-received gigs at the Tightrope in Anseo and also as part of Pop the Cherry's Comedy Night at Whelans.
Kill The Monster
Kill the Monster are a five piece improvisational group based in Dublin who have been improvising in one guise or another for the past 4 years. Arising from the No Drama Theatre group, they first started to improvise as fundraisers for plays but found they quite liked it so started doing it all year round. They developed an appetite for exploring the world of improvisation which led them to studying the work of the greats of improv like Viola Spolin, Keith Johnstone, & Del Close and moving on from there. They are continually striving to develop new games and formats and push improv as far as they can.
