The Serpent
Guida and Ligia are two sisters that life in the same apartment with their husbands. While Guida and Paulo live in eternal honeymoon, Ligia and Decio weren't able to consumate their marriage after one year. When the unhappy couple gets divorce, Ligia decides to kill herself jumping out of the window. In order to safe her sister's life, Guida makes a desperat offer that will change this family's life in an unpredictible way.
"The Serpent" is the last play by Nelson Rodrigues. He has a raw and unique way of dealing with themes such as love, family and dysfunctional marriage.
GROUP.BR will present a new way to perform this author through movement and voice. The production will emphasize the expressions of the body as a universal language.
