Classes: Class 1 Lindy Hop Fundamentals: work on the essential technique to dance in 8 count and improve your swing out and the moves to get you on the floor. All Levels Beginner focused
Class 2 Mama Lou Parks Solo Jazz Routine "The Stew" A classic routine invented by historic dancer and promoter Mama Lou Parks who was a hat check girl at the Savoy Ballroom and who later ran an acclaimed group of Lindy Hoppers. All Levels
Class 3 Adam's favorite moves: Adam will show you some of his favorite fun moves and cover as many as the class level allows to make it through. All Levels
Class 4 Lindy Hop Super Powers: This class is for those already confident in 8 count Lindy Hop who want to add musicality, style and advanced movement to their dancing. All Levels
Adam Brozowski is an in demand internationally recognized instructor, performer and choreographer of lindy hop, authentic jazz, tap and balboa. Holding over 30 championship titles for his dancing from events like The International Lindy Hop Championships, European Swing Dance Championships and Camp Jitterbug, Adam is also a 2015 inductee into the Camp Hollywood Hall of Fame. Adam has a special relationship with some of our Lindy Hop legends and has taught and assisted Norma Miller, Dawn Hampton and Jean Veloz as well as studying with Frankie Manning, most recently teaching with Norma in Herrang Dance Camp last year in Sweden. Adams classes always focus on historical authenticity, musicality, creativity and modern functional social dance technique. Adam is delighted to return to Abbotsford for the second time to teach this mini workshop series!
