AIACV Tour of Kaiser Permanente, Elk Grove Promenade Medical Office Building
Join the AIA Central Valley Chapter Academy of Architecture for Healthcare (AAH) for a panel discussion and tour of the new Kaiser Permanente, Elk Grove Promenade Medical Office Building in Elk Grove, a two-story, 67,000 SF facility providing primary care, pediatrics, women's health, physical therapy, imaging/radiology, clinical lab and outpatient pharmacy services. Unique design features include a healthy living store, and a 50-meter outdoor sports track that is part of a 4,000 SF sports medicine center specializing in the evaluation and rehabilitation of athletes.
The project was completed by the design-build team of Panattoni Construction/Forrar Williams Architects, and is one of the regions first projects to incorporate the 21 key experiences of Kaiser's new Total Health Environment program. Innovative design solutions include using the latest green building technologies to reduce energy consumption and water use, maximizing opportunities for natural day lighting, and utilizing eco-friendly materials and finishes. Join us to learn how the project team successfully delivered Kaiser Permanente's "total health" promise through the built environment and member experience.
