Even in a state that gets approximately 60% of its energy from coal, Colorado is one of many states with an impressive, and growing clean energy workforce.

Jobs in renewable energy are among the fastest growing in the U.S. The rumors to the contrary simply aren't true: the national transition to a clean energy system is creating jobs to the tune of millions. Some studies estimate there were 1.2 million clean energy jobs created in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2015 alone.  In addition to creating and sustaining clean energy jobs, this massive paradigm shift needs to also focus on job transition and skills training in Colorado's extraction dependent communities.

What is the bridge between the current energy workforce and the one of the future? What is the landscape of clean energy jobs here in Colorado? As the states population booms what is the impact on clean energy employment? Join local experts to explore the state and future of the clean energy workforce in Colorado, right here at The Alliance Center.
