The Honey Dewdrops are the Virginia-based roots duo Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish. Their sound is transcendent; embedded with a sparse Appalachian clarity that speaks to listeners everywhere. Their songs shine with energy and emotion, covering the ground between hand crafted folk songs, Appalachian fiddle tunes, and a cappella spirituals. Chuck Costa and Mira Stanley are The Sea, The Sea. They accompany each other with electric/acoustic guitars, the occasional banjo, piano, and percussion, but it is Chuck and Miras perfectly matched voices that create the heart of their emotive, sonic landscape.
