Bobby Long + Chris Koza
British singer-songwriter Bobby Long emerged from Londons club scene with a reputation for creating memorable songs inhabited by hauntingly poetic lyrics. He relocated to New York in 2009 and has since released three CDs inhabited by powerful original material: A Winter Tale (2011)an homage to his acoustic roots; Wishbone (2013)a gritty opus that showcases his sorrow-filled voice and stellar guitar playing; and the latest, Ode to Thinking, which applies his varied musical influences to a new collection of compelling songs. The vinyl version called Ode, comprising six tracks from the CD and three previously unreleased tracks, is also now available from Compass Records. Long has also published a volume of poetryLosing My Brotherhoodwith a second collection coming later this year.
Chris Koza
Chris Koza writes lyrics and songs that drift in through the ears then circulates throughout the body like a melody bonded to oxygen. He has toured the country and shared the stage with many amazing and notable artists such as Brandi Carlile, Neko Case, Ingrid Michaelson, The Jayhawks, Stephen Kellogg, Tift Merritt, Field Report, and others. Chris's music has appeared internationally on dozens of television and cable network programs, short films, documentaries, and feature films. When not on tour, he resides in Minneapolis, MN where you may find him dragging the lakes for forgotten treasure and refining an unstoppable left-handed hook shot.
