Luther Burbank, Alfred Hitchcock & Charles Shulz Car Cruise
A guided car cruise of downtown Santa Rosa and western Sonoma County, including the Pacific Coast and the Russian River, visiting the sites of three of the most famous people to have lived and worked in Sonoma County  filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, horticulturalist Luther Burbank, and Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz  as well as other famous sites:

Exterior photo stop at the Victorian house featured in Hitchcocks 1943 film Shadow of a Doubt.

Exterior photo stop at the Victorian mansion featured in Walt Disneys 1960 film Pollyanna.

Exterior photo stop at Santa Rosa High School featured in Francis Ford Coppolas 1986 film Peggy Sue Got Married.

Exterior and interior group tour of Luther Burbanks Home and Gardens in downtown Santa Rosa.

Exterior photo stop at the schoolhouse in Bodega featured in Hitchcocks 1963 film The Birds.

Drive through the famed Bodega Harbour custom home development on the Pacific Coast south of Bodega Bay.

Optional: Lunch stop at the Tides Wharf Restaurant in Bodega Bay, location of the original Tides Restaurant featured in Hitchcocks 1963 film The Birds.

Visit to Nicholas Green Bell Tower Memorial north of Bodega.

Drive along the Sonoma Coast on famed Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1).

Drive through the redwood groves along the Russian River.

Exterior photo stop at the Village Inn in Monte Rio, featured in Irving Berlins 1942 film Holiday Inn (famous for the song White Christmas)

Optional stop for champagne tasting at the famed Korbel Champagne Cellars east of Guerneville. Korbel Champagne is served frequently at the White House.

Tour of the Charles Schulz Museum, cartoonist of Peanuts.

Free which includes driving instructions, maps, a personal guide (Paul Gilger) who will caravan with you.

Admission into the Luther Burbank Home Tour ($12) and the Charles Schulz Museum ($12) are a la carte and paid individullly at the door.
