June 2016 Sustainability Wins Lunch and Learn: The Passive House, Aggressive on Efficiency
The Alliance Center
Denver, CO

Green building standards and certifications for commercial buildings seem to be outpacing those of residential properties. But there's at least one standard - the German Passive House, or Passivhaus - that provides a rigorous, although voluntary, process for residential buildings to follow. Adhering to Passivhaus standards results in an ultra-low energy building that requires little energy for space heating or cooling. Passive House homes can be affordable, cost effective and comfortable, all while providing more stable, resilient energy. Join us June 9 from 12 to 1 pm, and hear from Rois Langner of NREL and Morgan Law of Paper Airplane Company as they discuss how Passive House designs can actively tackle climate change.

Lunch and beverage service provided by Serendipity Catering and Serendipity Coffee Bar.
