Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio
This Pulitzer Prize-nominated play chronicles the story of Barry Champlain, a Cleveland area shock jock, on the eve of his radio shows national syndication. With a listening audience made up primarily of insomniacs and nut jobs, one can expect his callers to be an even seedier sort. On this night, however, Barrys normally bulletproof worldview is challenged providing just a glimpse behind the hard shell of his outward personae.
