P.O.S:
P.O.S built his reputation as an innovator, with an unlikely punk rock past and expressive, honest content. He re-earns the accolades with every release. He manages to capture his charisma on his records; theyre driving and sincere, the dark moments counterbalanced by some giggling banter with the engineer.
As a little kid, Stef developed a fascination with an older cousins bass guitar. Stef was allowed to take it home and he banged on it happily for years before realizing that it was intended to be played through an amp. I just thought it was supposed to be a quiet instrument. As a teenager, he fell hard for punk rock. Minor Threat, At the Drive-In, Refused, Kid Dynamite. He played in a series of hardcore bands, sometimes as a drummer, sometimes on guitar and vocals. From the start, he preferred basement shows to club gigs. Simultaneously, he pursued hip hop, rapping in the hallways and after school with classmates who would eventually found Doomtree Records. P.O.S released his first rap record, Ipecac Neat, on Doomtree in 2003. Soon it was re-released and widely distributed on Rhymesayers Entertainment. He built on this momentum with the release of the albums Audition (2005) and Never Better (2009).
Like many great rappers, P.O.S creates his own self-contained little microcosm-his characters become familial to us; we get in on his slang and inside jokes. His mother and his son Jacob emerge as familiar personalities. We know his politics too: P.O.S doesnt hesitate to call out the compounding absurdities of pop culture, either with a little friendly ribbing or with a Molotov cocktail. On Never Better he drops deft one-liners that cut to the quick of Americas stuff-obsessed culture, Cant take it with them can they?
Some critics will be eager to categorize P.O.S work as a hybrid, a crossover of some kind. But its probably not. P.O.S is a rapper with range, hes a real musician and an unstoppable performer. For him, genres are as they ever were: permeable.
MILO:
Milo's built a buzz over the last few years which grew immensely in 2015 with the release of his sophmore LP, the critically acclaimed, Kenny Segal produced 'So the Flies Dont Come'.
Certainly his greatest critical achievement to date, it debuted at #1 on all of bandcamp and is still popping up on CMJ hip hop charts and garnering spins on college stations all across America.
Most recently, the album defeated Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, Dr Dre and Joey Badass to win the Rap Album of the Year tourney onmassappeal.com.
So the Flies Dont Come also made best of lists over at Rolling Stone, Spin, Ghettoblaster Magazine, Boston Globe, Brooklyn Magazine, Passionweiss, Dead End Hip Hop and many more regional publications across the country.
Milo has toured relentlessly over the last few years as a headliner, with Hellfyre Club and as support to Busdriverr and Clppng in 2014.
After leaving Hellfyre Club in 2014, he signed with Daddy Kev and Alpha Pup Records and is now distributed exclusively through The Order Label.
Milo just finished a very successful headlining, southwest to southeast tour with Sb the Moor and will be on the road in March doing college dates and SXSW showcases.

Christopher Michael Jensen has no alias. He lacks a fake persona. His music tackles everyday struggles, relationships, politics, and his own personal demons. His songs are at times self-assured and confrontational, and at other times vulnerable and soul searching. Through it all, however, he truly embodies the DIY philosophy and mantra of living hip hop 24/7. A student of the culture for more than half his life, Jensen began rapping in the year 2000 when he was just 13-years-old. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Chris has been an extremely active member of the highly renowned Twin Cities hip hop scene. He has shared the stage with hip hop legends and vets like Slick Rick, Cage, Joell Ortiz, 2Mex, Sadistik, Ceschi, Sapient, Kosha Dillz, and Soulcrate Music, as well as many local stars including DJ Abilities, Lizzo, Dem Atlas, Toki Wright, Kristoff Krane, Carnage The Executioner, Kill The Vultures, No Bird Sing, Guante, and Metasota. In 2015, he also toured the midwest on the Aint No Hold Up Tour. In 2014, Chris released his latest solo album CM Cool J, his most fully realized and focused work to date. Each of the 13 tracks on the album contain production from a different Minnesota beatsmith, with features from recent Rhymesayers signee Dem Atlas, as well as Liz Harper, Ashley Seeler, North Star Wisdom, and Lydia Liza of Bomba de Luz. In a review,Reviler.org commented that whats great about Chris is that with each release, he raps with a bit more confidence, and vocally he raps very conversationally, with almost a cynic twist, which definitely sets him apart, adding that CM Cool J is a lot more than meets the eye on the surface. RapReviews.com said at times on the album Jensen sounds like the Twin Cities meets The Coup, and during other moments is a little bit Marshall Mathers. Christopher Michael Jensen has also been heavily involved with several charitable endeavors, playing a benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2011, and the following year performing in support of international organization Oxfam and their fight against the West African food crisis. 2012 also saw the beginning of Rap For Life a benefit series spearheaded by Jensen and his friend Ashley Seeler that has raised thousands of dollars for many life-or-death causes including suicide prevention, chemical dependency awareness, domestic abuse awareness, mental health, and at-risk youth. Other causes Chris has been involved with include benefits for the homeless, AIDS patients, children with autism, charter schooling, the fight to end sex trafficking, LGBTQ pride, and the troops and veterans.
