Join Allagash Brewing Company and St. Lawrence Arts in welcoming Victor Ale back for another season! The ale is part of Allagash Brewing Company's Philanthropic program benefiting local non-profits.  Allagash contributes funds through sales of Victor Ale to help realize the mission of the St. Lawrence Arts, a state-of-the-art space for performing arts housed in one of Portland's distinctive and unique historic 19th-century buildings. St. Lawrence Arts has served the Portland community since it opened in 2001. Since 2007, Allagash Brewing Company has contributed over $75,000 to the St. Lawrence through this philanthropic program.

Victor Ale was inspired by its feminine-named predecessor, Victoria Ale (sales of which benefit Portland's Victoria Mansion). With chardonnay grapes to make the Victoria Ale unique, the brewers decided to use red chancellor grapes for the Victor. In addition to a generous portion of Pilsner malt, Victor is hopped with Fuggles and Hallertau and fermented with a wine yeast strain. With a focus on the subtle wine-like character of the grapes, the 9.0% ABV brew maintains a copper color, wine yeast influence and a medium body with a tart and spicy finish.

Music by Raging Brass Reggae a 7-piece brass band paying tribute to 1960s Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and Roots Reggae music, amazing food, and lots of great beer!
