CD Release: Tristan Omand, Dan Blakeslee, Whethermen
Emerging among the trees and red brick mill-towns of New Hampshire, Tristan Omand writes songs that are brimming with stories of offbeat characters, road-worn personal experience, and just a bit of subtle humor to even things out. With a lyrical approach similar to John Prine and a galloping flat-picked acoustic sound all his own, Tristan is cutting a clear path towards some kind of truth that is only found through song.

Bright & Lyon are also proud to announce Tristan Omands new release, The Lesser Known Tristan Omand, is the debut of Bright & Lyons recording label.
Special guests this evening will include prolific artist Dan Blakeslee, and the seasoned bucolic folk artist Whetherman.
With six albums under his belt and a suitcase full of songs, Blakeslee is unafraid to bare his very soul on stage, emptying a loaded cache of emotion and passion for all to witness, explore and devour.
Whetherman inspires laid back scenes with earnest and poetic lyrics, percussive guitar strumming, rolling harmonica and timeless vocals. Living on the road for the better part of four years, his surroundings have secured songs of conviction, poetry and resonance of nature.
