Rodney Parrot has a PHD in Asian religion and has written in many forms: academic articles, a book of Indian philosophy, a novel, poetry, homemade chapbooks, two ghost written books, and short stories about his business, Rescued Art. His newest poetry collection, Flying, was published in January 2016 with Northshire Press. He has been a regular at Caffe Lena Poetry for many years and has consistently delighted our audience with his insights, musical language and imagery.
Doors open and sign-up begins at 7. Readings begin at 7:30. Please plan to share one long poem or two short poems, altogether lasting no more than three to five minutes. All ages and styles welcome.
