Meatless and Glutenless Monday with Duck Foot Brewing
Hello, Chef Oz here.
For a while I had been wondering when we would have a Craft Brewery that would artisan gluten free, or gluten reduced hop juice. One day, this guy called Johnny, one of Duck Foot Brewing Company 's own, came to Cueva to show me their product. As we were tasting the beer I asked him "So, what's the philosophy behind Foot Brewing? What's the purpose of its existence?" Johnny began to explain the story of the owner, who himself has celiac disease therefore, he wanted to offer a gluten reduced beer.
After just the beginning of the story, I had already fell in love with the product on my first sip, and the story of the brewery. The beer tastes so great that I've had guests who aren't necessarily looking for a gluten free beer and once they taste and like it, I tell them is a gluten reduced beer and they can't believe it!
It is now time to offer a four course gluten free dinner, paired with awesome local gluten reduced craft beer from Duck Foot Brewing Co.
