Boston's Lonely Heartstring Band was originally formed to play Beatles songs on traditional bluegrass instruments for one particular wedding. Realizing they were onto something special, they began exploring other classics of the pop and folk lists, and creating gorgeous original songs. Trained at Berklee College of Music and boasting some serious performance credentials that belie their youth, these five hard-working guys combine instrumental virtuosity, 3-part harmonies, and a deep understanding of traditional bluegrass and Appalachian music.
