Pete Dubuc w/special guests Dark Hollow Bottling Co.
Don't miss this special CD Release/Memoriam Benefit performance from Portland's own Pete Dubuc (frontman of Gunther Brown) and Dark Hallow Bottling Company- Friday May 18th 7:30PM; Tickets $10 advance/ $12 door. On-sale now through Brown Paper Tickets or at any Bull Moose Music location. Having released two studio recordings with his band, Gunther Brown, The Ship marks Pete Dubuc's first solo release. Just days from recording what was going to be a new full length Gunther Brown album, Pete's mother very unexpectedly passed away at the age of 64 from a stroke which was brought on by an unknown brain tumor. The day after her passing, Pete wrote the song, The Ship, in her memory. Deciding it was important to keep the studio time and record this tribute to her, the studio time would result in these seven songs which are being released to raise money for the American Cancer Society. All money raised from the sale of this album is being donated to ACS. Ticket revenue for this show will go entirely to the American Cancer Society and the non profit St Lawrence Arts.
