Join us for an evening with Randy Hayes as we explore the history of The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.  Hayes will review the past 20 sessions of The Conference of the Parties (COP), leading up to COP21 in Paris later this year.  Hayes will recount major victories and upsets through all past 20 COPS, many from his personal perspective as a participant in these conferences. The second part of the evening will hone in on Paris: what to expect, what major negotiations are planned, and who will represent Colorado in Paris.  We anticipate that several of the Colorado Delegations will be in attendance to share their mission for COP21.

Hayes, described as an "environmental pit bull" by The Wall Street Journal, founded Rainforest Action Network. He directs Foundation Earth, a new think-tank developing the big picture of a human order with economic models for long-term sustainability -- embracing the web of life and the biosphere's life support systems.

Networking from 6:30-7pm
Program from 7-8:30pm
