Roots, Shoots, and Fruits of Autumn, Vegan Cooking on Whidbey Island
Join us for our next cooking class on the magic isle, "Roots, Shoots, and Fruits of Autumn" when we will be sharing some special seasonal dishes that really shine as well as tips and tricks for making delicious vegetable centered meals part of your daily life. These are meals that are both healthy and beautiful, and will inspire and impress everyone you prepare them for. We will also focus on how to utilize what's in season, and how to make endless variations based on what you have on hand. We will teach you how to make wild mushroom ravioli from scratch, how to perfectly roast a leek, what the secret ingredient in our potato parsnip soup is, and how to whip up an apple caramel cake. We will share our handcrafted recipe cards, answer any healthy cooking questions you may have, and dish out samples of each dish for all participants. There will be beverages to sip, and new friends to meet in a gorgeous island residence. As always, this class will be demonstration based, and all dishes are 100% vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free.
