Event
From Israel WIth Funk
The Boston Jewish Music Festival, The Israeli Consulate, The PRISM Young Adult Initiative of the New Center, and J Street Boston are proud to present one of Israel's most acclaimed and important bands. Hadag Nahash combines fresh Hip Hop, rock, reggae and funk sounds, serving up a melting pot of tight grooves with Middle Eastern flavor. Their songs promote equality and civil rights, and create a soundtrack to the local struggle against racism and corruption. They have performed with the Black Eyed Peas, Cypress Hill, and The Streets and contributed music to Adam Sandler's movie "You Don't Mess With The Zohan." The band insists we have a dance floor. We insist you be on it. Please note: 1. Anyone under the age of 21 at the early show must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 10 are not allowed. 2. If available, tickets at the door will be $25.
This program is supported in part by a Young Adult Community Grant from Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
