Jerks of Grass
Do yourself a favor and set this evening aside as a time to relax and unwind with after the holidays with an evening of warm and traditional bluegrass music as Jerks of Grass will perform here on Friday January 6th at 7:30 PM.
Jerks of Grass are a high-energy bluegrass quartet from Portland ME- Gathered around one microphone in traditional style the group blends in their progressive roots becoming a formidable purveyor of their own brand of bluegrass.
Priding themselves on tight arrangements, stellar musicianship, and an ability to delight even the most suspicious of audiences, it's no surprise that the group has remained one of the area's busiest acts for over 10 years.
Comprised of members who teach at Yarmouth's 317 Main St. Music School - Melissa Bragdon/Fiddles & Vocals, Kris Day Upright Bass/Guitar & Vocals, Carter Logan Five String Banjo/Guitar & Vocals and Jason Phelps Guitar/Mandolin & Vocal.
