Chapter Election & Tour at Sacramento Mutual Housing at the Highlands
Join your colleagues for a special presentation and tour of this recently completed Sacramento Mutual Housing Project, as well as vote for the 2012 Chapter Board of Directors.
Mutual Housing at the Highlands is a 90 unit multi-family project designed to accommodate recently homeless individuals and low-income families.
The project was designed by Cynthia Easton Architects and constructed by Sunseri Construction for the Sacramento Yolo Mutual Housing Association.
These affordable, functional and low-maintenance homes integrated natural light and energy efficient features throughout. Unique colors define the
individual units, while universal access to common areas and amenities provide residents with ample opportunities to interact and create a sense of
community and pride. Additionally, the landscape incorporates an advanced storm drainage system. The project is tracking for Build It Green (BIG).
