Frontier of High Performance Building Operations
Come and learn how the Natural Resources Defense Council (one of The Alliance Center's newest tenants) is using its own internal sustainable operations plan to demonstrate how an organization can use its operations as a platform for environmental stewardship. As a result, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is detoxifying its work environment and garnering media attention for its office build outs that are living up to the rigorous guidelines of the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Materials Petal (including the world's first tenant retrofit to achieve LBC Petal Certification).
Join us for this presentation from Anthony Guerrero, NRDC's Senior Director of Facilities and Administration, and Eileen Quigley, NRDC's Sustainability Manager in their Facilities practice, to learn about NRDC's initiatives and get ideas for what to implement in your organization and The Alliance Center.
