Performance Feast
The Theater Offensive (TTO) and Hispanic Black Gay Coalition (HBGC) present The Fall 2011 Performance Feast. Join us for a fabulous evening of delicious food, powerful performances, and thoughtful discussion at the Milky Way Lounge in Jamaica Plain. This is a culminating event for Shout It OUT!, a weekend workshop series with guest artist Brian Freeman, founding member of the African-American gay theater troupe The Pomo Afro Homos. The Performance Feast will feature stories from LGBT people of color from the Boston area, and perhaps a sneak peek of Brian's work Fierce Love: Stories from Black Gay Life, which will be presented in-full by TTO November 17-19.
Ticket price includes appetizer, pasta and salad buffet dinner, dessert, performance, and discussion. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
If not sold out, tickets will be available at the door for $20 (CASH ONLY/EXACT CHANGE).
Directions by MBTA Take the Orange Line to Stony Brook Station. As you exit the station, turn left and walk up Boylston Street to the first stoplight. At the light, take a right onto Amory Street.
