Summer Concert with Gina Sala, Correo Aereo, Paul Che oke ten Wagner, and Makiyo
7:00pm Makiyo Sakashita is currently on tour from Japan promoting her debut CD: One. Makiyo sings beautiful originals & Okinawa songs with drum, guitar & voice. 7:45pm Paul "Che oke ten" Wagner shares the traditional songs & stories of his Coast Salish tribal ancestors. His debut Native flute CD "Journey of the Spirit" was honored by the "Best Native American Album of 2009" JPF Award. 8:30pm Seattle's own Gina Sala, with a repertoire of 23 languages, will leave you humming songs from places you may not have expected to travel! 9:00pm Correo Aereo, (Air Mail), are Austin Music Award winners performing acoustic original & traditional Latin/World music from Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico and beyond, combining a stunning array of string and percussive instruments with silken vocal harmonies described as "locked in carnal embrace." by the Austin Chronicle.
