Teen Media Academy - El Paso, TX
Calling all aspiring female journalists and media producers. Latinitas is hosting a week-long Summer Camp for high school girls with intensive instruction from media producers and field trips to local media stations. As part of the camp, teens will complete an article, take a media tour, be published in an award-winning on-line magazine, create a photo essay, make a blog, produce an audio podcast and film a video broadcast. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost for the week-long camp is $35 which covers supplies and equipment. Space is limited.
