Susan Herrmann Loomis is an internationally-recognized expert on food and an award-winning journalist/author, with nine books to her credit.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Susan has lived in France for nearly twenty years and operates the renowned cooking school, On Rue Tatin, in Normandy.
You can catch her in Seattle on Wednesday, August 26 at 5:30pm at Umpqua Bank Downtown. Join her for a presentation, book signing, hors d'oeuvres and complimentary cocktails (Susan's signature Berry Thyme Sparkler Cocktail). She'll discuss new book, In a French Kitchen: Tales and Traditions of Everyday Home Cooking in France, which is ranked as the #1 new book release in French cooking.
About the book
Described as part memoir, part cookbook - the recipes you'll find in the book are simple and sensational, focused on seasonality and quality ingredients that anyone can find, guaranteed to create fine, joyful, passionate moments at the table.
