Seasons with Alarm Will Sound
Alarm Will Sound ignites the Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts with the world premiere of Roger Reynolds' Seasons: Cycle 2 featuring Grammy Award-winning soprano Susan Narucki. Explore the abyss of love and pain in Anna Clyne's Blush for baritone, laptop and chamber ensemble, based on an evocative text written by Julio Monterrey. John Adam's Chamber Symphony, a work influenced by Arnold Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony and American cartoon music, will be performed as well as world premieres by AWS members Payton MacDonald and Matt Marks.

"Susan Narucki is a composer's best friend - a new music interpreter of such intelligence, commitment and technical prowess that anything she sings takes on a radiant life.  No matter what the repertoire, a performance by Narucki is always an important event."- San Francisco Chronicle
