When Hot Met Sweaty
From that zany improv troupe, Hot & Sweaty, who brought audiences the ever delightful "A Hot & Sweaty Holiday" and the hysterically funny "i heart improv", comes a summer improv show that will leave you wanting more laughs, on the side. "When Hot Met Sweaty" will help you forget about the summer heat and quench your thirst for humor. "When Hot Met Sweaty" will be at 8 pm and 9:30 pm at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre's Melton Rehearsal Hall on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Each show features three long form improv troupes. The shows will make you meow.
Tickets are only $10! Online ticket sales conclude on Saturday, June 4th at 12 Noon. If tickets are still available, they will be sold at the door of the Rehearsal Hall for $15 each, cash only.

There is a world just outside your everyday life that is remarkably similar but infinitely more hilarious. A world bursting at the seams with truthful characters that aren't afraid to go after what they want. Caveat's signature style takes an audience suggestion and explodes it into this world of possibility. With the fuel in the tank, snacks in the back and directions in hand, the players of Caveat set off on a veritable roadtrip of scenes that take you to a new, uproarious destination every single time. Consider yourself warned: For Caveat, being funny is no joke.

Good Touch Bad Touch is a DC-based improv troupe that came into existence when several sewer explorers bumped into each other under the streets of DC. During the ensuing West Side Story-esque synchronized brawl, they discovered they shared a love of not just of sewer treasure but also spontaneous hi-jinx and tom-foolery. Before long this group of sewer dwellers began gathering regularly to hone their unique brand of poppy-cockery. And on rare occasions they ascend upon the land of natural light to be your dancing monkey for laughter inducement.
