Le 10 juin, l'Alliance Française de Toronto vous invite dès 19h à une soirée-lecture de textes de François Morel, suivie d'un cocktail dans la galerie.
Pour l'occasion, François Morel lira sur les planches du théâtre ses chroniques et autres écrits, autour d'un élément propre à l'auteur : l'humour.
Artiste "multitâche", homme-orchestre, François Morel est un homme de théâtre -où il s'est notamment illustré avec la troupe les ''Deschiens'', mais également un auteur, un chanteur, un acteur, et un chroniqueur radio. Depuis septembre 2009, il anime une chronique sur France Inter tous les vendredis matins dans le ''7-9'' présenté par Patrick Cohen.
Avec absurdité et légèreté, François Morel vous propose une soirée où l'on rit, mais toujours avec poésie et tendresse. Jean-Michel Ribes, directeur du Théâtre du Rond-Point, le décrit comme un homme bienveillant : Victor Hugo avait dit que la plus belle qualité de l'homme, c'est la gentillesse. C'est ce qu'a compris Morel. C'est quelqu'un de bienveillant et ça fait du bien aux gens, en plus de sa drôlerie .

On June 10th, Alliance française de Toronto invites you for a reading-evening with François Morel at 7pm. This event will be free and be followed by a little reception in the Gallery Pierre Léon.
He will present some of his columns and read part of his writings around Humor.
Multitasking artist, one-man band, playwright, François Morel was a member of the Theatre Company Les deschiens. He is an author, a singer, an actor and a radio columnist. Since September 2009, he hosts a chronic on France Inter, the French public Radio, on Friday morning in the 7-9 of Patrick Cohen.
With absurdity and lightness, François Morel will propose an evening to make you laugh, but always with poetry and tenderness. Jean-Michel Ribes, the Director of Le Theatre du Rond Point, talks about François Morel as a caring man: Victor Hugo said that the most beautiful human quality is kindness. Morel has understood that. He is someone that cares about people and it's good for them".
