All stories begin somewhere. In this class we will explore a variety of ways for you to open your own novel.
By delving into an array of masterful beginnings, we'll uncover the best and most common strategies for quickly and clearly establishing a novel's characters, world, and conflict. We'll also discuss and dissect some of the most memorable and successful YA novel openings. We'll close our class by offering our seven rules for hooking a reader immediately and making her want to turn the page.
