A Creative Journey
Alan Yentob's career in broadcasting and the arts is unsurpassed. His time at the BBC spans 45 years, takes in controllerships of BBC 1 and 2, editing and presenting the Imagine arts strand and currently BBC Creative Director. Writer and illustrator, Judith Kerr, began her staggering journey fleeing from the Nazis in Germany as a ten year old, ending up in London, where she has lived in the same house for longer than Alan has worked at the BBC. Judith worked for the Red Cross. She trained as an artist at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and was a BBC scriptwriter. She turned the stories she told her children into best selling books The Tiger Who Came To Tea and the Mog series. Both books she illustrated herself. These two creative greats chat about their journeys in creativity, the arts, broadcasting and publishing. 5 June 5.15pm - 6.30pm
