Gypsy Tears
Behind their name is the legend of gypsy tears, which guitarist, Benjamin Woods says is "a powerful elixir to heal all ailments."
Their performances likewise can heal audiences, get them out of themselves for a time with their innovative and intense oroiginals, traditional flamenco and covers by the Gipsy Kings.
Hurtado colors the stage like a painter with dramatic, powerful and sensual dancing, precise "machine-gun" footwork and percussion. Woods weaves the musical web, accompanying with an astonishing technical ability and inventiveness on guitar with raspy vocals reminiscent of Andalusia.

Woods has been active in the flamenco community in Los Angeles for 2 years, in San Francisco for over 8 years, and in Seattle before that, where he became well known for his inventive musical direction, sublime compositions and easygoing attitude.
