Please join us for the first of what we hope will be a regular offering; Fire and Earth Kitchen's Cooking Classes for Veg Singles! Sharing good food and company to pull our community together is what we specialize in, and what better place than in the heart of our hometown, at Pike Place's Atrium Kitchen. We will be creating a casual space for vegan, veg, and veg-loving singles to meet and mingle over great food while learning some of our stellar recipes. We will be sharing an array of cooking techniques to prepare tasty vegan tapas; small plates that are filled with flavor and impossible not to love. Class will be demonstration based and as we highlight three unique dishes from Spain and surrounding areas, we will also discuss common Spanish spices used to boost flavor, and will show you first hand how to make delicious homemade empanadas, crispy chickpea croquettes, and a special potato recipe from the Canary Islands that's sure to make you smile. We will be pairing the dishes we teach with local wine as well as non-alcoholic beverages, and will leave ample time for mingling. As always, all dishes we prepare will be 100% vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free, and class will include our handcrafted recipe cards as well as plenty of time to get all of your healthy cooking questions answered. This will be our first class in Pike Place's beautiful kitchen, and we know it's unique location and fantastic open feel will make this one very special. We want this to be an opportunity to get together with like minded folks in a casual way, no pressure, no speed dating, no set-ups, just real recipes, good food, and new faces to connect with.
