Creator Dan Goggin has made a career these past 25 years out of his Nunsense shows – the original has created 8 spins offs, been produced 5000+ times world-wide and has been translated into 21 languages.
Join the Little Sisters of Vashon Island as they present their first ever holiday TV show on cable access, Voice of Vashon from their humble basement studio. Joined by Father Virgil and students from Mt. St. Helens School, humor and twisted carols abound with a Secret Santa bit to get the audience into the holiday mood. Sister Julia reveals her secrets to making the perfect holiday fruit cake and, of course, the nuns have their own hilarious take on the Nutcracker ballet.
The show reunites last year's creative team of Director Chris Ott, and Musical Director Elizabeth Ripley. They will be joined by Christopher Overstreet, pianist, who will accompany the singing nuns and their minions.
The cast includes: Isaac & Ellie Hughes, Charlotte Schoen & Max Lopuszynski, as the hapless students under watchful care of Nuns: Dianna Ammon, Earthsong, Shannon Flora, Gretchen Neffenger, Lissy Nichols, Zoey Rice, Lizzie Schoen and Vasa Seymour, with Sue DeNies as the Reverend Mother, Sister Mary Regina and Kirk Beeler as Father Virgil Manly Trott.
