A Hot & Sweaty Holiday
"A Hot & Sweaty Holiday" is a holiday themed improv comedy show designed to make audiences have a jolly good time on Tuesday, December 14th at 7:30 pm and Wednesday, December 15th at 7:30 pm and 9 pm at the Source theater. A portion of the ticket sales from all 3 shows will go to Driving Blind. Driving Blind is the name of a documentary yet to be made of the story of two brothers losing their eyesight to a degenerative eye disease and who have decided to travel across the United States to see all the sights before their vision is completely gone.
Over 80 improvisers from the Washington DC area have agreed to come together for "A Hot & Sweaty Holiday" to help audiences laugh their way through the holidays and to help raise money for Driving Blind. Each show is an original improvised production based on the audience's suggestions and created by the improvisers for the first and last time.

"A Hot & Sweaty Holiday" is brought to you by Hot & Sweaty, a comedic improvisational troupe. Formed during the Dog Days of DC's hottest summer, Hot & Sweaty performs and raises the temperatures for audiences in the Washington DC area. It consists of seven improvisers: Tom Achilles, Sara Armour, Bill DiPiero, Chad Goodroad, Regan Hildebrand, Caroline Blair Pettit, and Nancy Safavi.

ABOUT DRIVING BLIND
Driving Blind is the story of two brothers, Tod and Justin Purvis, who suffer from Choroideremia a degenerative eye disease, which can lead to complete and total blindness.
With the prospect of losing their vision entirely, Tod and Justin have decided there are so many people/places/things in this country that they would like to see.
Since Choroideremia starts with the peripheral vision, they have decided to start with the peripheral states of America. They are going to circumnavigate the contiguous United States, seeing the great sights that make America beautiful. They will be documenting the entire trip on film in the hopes of raising awareness of Choroideremia and other degenerative eye diseases. All donations will go towards trip costs and expenses, with all remaining proceeds going to the Choroideremia Research Foundation.
