A 1960's Cabaret Musical Revue
The East Troy Square Players present a 1960's Cabaret. The hits from the period range from jazz, blues, pop, to folk, and country. All performed live by our talented cast in a fun, dimly lit Cabaret atmosphere.
Visit The Backstage Club and say hello to the jovial but slightly shady owner, Spike "Dice" Carmichael. Watch the antics of a troubled starlet, Kitty von Monroe, as she works the room. Listen to the vocal stylings of Nick Starlight, a Vegas crooner. Margaret Stewart, the evening's emcee, will have just returned from her triumphant tour behind the iron curtain. She'll delight you with her jazz and blues vocals. Peter Donalds will delight you too, with his guitar and folk tunes. And don't miss Angie Walker as she belts out a special number or three!
Note: if Spike likes your looks he'll drop you a poker chip- use it for a free drink on him! Or he may decide to let you roll his dice and try for a free one that way. It's up to Spike, because he owns the joint.
The Backstage Club opens at 6pm, the show starts at 7pm and runs for approximately two hours with no intermission..but this is a Cabaret so feel free to move about as you like, we won't nail you to your seat!
