Architecture Matters Design Forum: The Works of Architect Peter Zumthor
Join hosts Saxon Sigerson, AIA, Arturo Levenfeld, AIA and Kris Barkley, AIA for a casual evening of discussion centered on the topic of design as it relates to the work of architect Peter Zumthor.
Pritzker Prize winning architect Peter Zumthor is at once known and unknown. His name is certainly recognizable within the profession but his deceptively simple, quiet approach to design seems to form his notoriety [or lack thereof]. All the more reason to bring his work to light and explore the intricacies of a substantial body of work.
What place does Zumthor's work have in the larger community of global architecture? How does it relate to the human condition? Our open forum discussion is intended to explore these questions and others in our continuing Architecture Matters design forum series.
