Abuelas Rule! Auténtica Spanish Granny Food
Ever wondered what Spaniards do after going out for tapas?... They have a proper meal! La Sociedad de los Tres and the Hill Station have joined forces to prove to you that there is life beyond "Patatas Bravas".
Join us on this tribute to our Abuelas' cooking and have a taste of Spanish tradition. Expect nothing but great ingredients cooked with love and patience, just like Abuelas' do! Relax, eat, drink and enjoy life around a table of friends and family.
Our Menu has been carefully designed to give you the opportunity to taste some of the most traditional dishes of the Spanish Cuisine, all brought to you straight from our Grandmas' recipe books!
Here are some of the things that the Abuelas will be cooking on the evening*:
Start the night with a complimentary drink and some tapas: Olives and Pickled Garlics Pata de Mulo Cheese and Chorizo from León Boquerones en Vinagre (marinated anchovies) Arroz Negro (squid paella)
De Primero: Sit at the table for a taste of our Stuffed Piquillo Peppers with Cod and Prawns as well as a delicious Fabada (Asturian stew)
De Segundo: Warm up with Abuela's Marmitako (Tuna stew)
De Postre: Simple things are always best, enjoy our Manchego mille-feuille with quince jelly and wine syrup
Finally, get the night going with some Sugar Coated Almonds and Mini Tocinillos de Cielo (egg flans).
*Please note that the Menu might vary slightly. A Vegetarian Menu will be available on the night, please make sure that you select this option when booking your tickets.
ABUELAS RULE!
PS There is no entertainment planned for the evening apart from cooking live for you and sharing some tips on how to make great sangria. Having said this, the chefs are well known for their appalling flamenco singing and dancing. Give them a couple of bottles of Rioja and let's see where the night takes us!
